The American Dermatological Association REALLY does not want us to get in the sunlight at all. And now we realize the valuable properties of exposure to the sun (vitamin D) and the ways to prevent the skin cancer of the past (moderation, high quality sunscreen, etc.).
Also, now we know that the sun we get today can rear its ugly head twenty or so years down the road IF WE DO NOT TAKE PROPER CARE. What has been done, has been done. There have been all sorts of ways designed to placate the diehard tanner such as regulated tanning beds to prevent weekend warriors… Remember, moderation and a reputable tanning salon will see to that. There is also spray tanning… which in reality is nothing more than a harmless sugar compound that react with the dead protein in skin cells but really stinks.
And then there is Tantra MTII that causes your body to produce more melanin naturally and allow you to get as dark as you like from the inside out. The color comes from your melanocytes so you will only turn brown where they are, not on the palms of your hands, and because it develops deep in the dermis, you can’t shave it off or scrub it off, it just slowly fades away over about three months. It’s beautiful, streak less and you control the color. Why don’t more people do that?
