MTII

Healthy Tanning Time!

March is behind us and hopefully the crazy winter of 2014 is history. Getting outdoors is on our minds and a little preparation is a good thing. Whether you’re spending time in the garden, on the golf course, playing some tennis or headed to the beach, you need to be thinking about your skin. Healthy tanning takes preparation!

Even with the moderate UV rays of April one can get too much sun very quickly without some protection. Getting a start with MTII will help you develop an all-over tan that starts deep in the dermis and rises to the upper layers of your skin. Even after getting a base tan, your skin should always be protected from damaging UV rays by wearing proper clothing or using high quality sunscreens – like those sold by Babor for example. If you do expose your skin, be sure to moisturize afterwards to prevent aging and dryness. Moderate exposure to the sun is a healthy way to help your body produce vitamin D which is essential for good health – and healthy tanning!

So, remember get out in the sun and have some fun but always keep your skin in mind. It’s the largest body organ and it’s important to maintain it properly.
